Options Builder is a powerful tool available on the Firstrade platform that helps investors explore and identify options strategies tailored to their market outlook and investment goals.
How to Use Options Builder
Use the “Symbol or Company” search field at the top of any page to enter the stock symbol you're interested in trading options for.
From the stock's detail page, look for the row of navigation tabs located just below the stock's price information and select Options Builder.
Answer three simple questions:
Do you believe the stock will go up or down? Click Next.
Will the movement be slight or significant? Click Next.
Choose your focus—such as limiting risk, creating income, or maximizing gain —and click Show Results.
The Options Builder will present strategies that align with your inputs, along with a visual chart showing potential profit and loss scenarios.
Explore Further
Click on Dashboard to dive deeper into the available options and analyze additional details for your selected stock.
