How do I remove Pattern Day Trading (PDT) status?

To remove the Pattern Day Trading (PDT) status from your account, you will need to complete the Pattern Day Trader Status Termination Form. This can be found in our Form Center. Once the form is filled out, you can submit it using the Secure Document Upload feature.

Please note: This status can only be removed once. If your account receives the Pattern Day Trading status again after removal, it will be permanently applied to your account.
