How do I transfer to Firstrade from a firm outside of the United States?

Please ask your current broker if they participate in the ACAT, DTC or DWAC transfer system. Many international brokerage firms may have affiliations with a domestic U.S. transfer agent. If that is the case, we can accept the securities transfer.

ACAT transfers are initiated on our website under Accounts -> Deposit/Transfer -> Account Transfer.

When initiating a DTC transfer, please provide the below information to the delivering firm:

Receiving firm name: Apex Clearing Corporation
​DTC No.: 0158
​Receiving account number: Your 8 digits Firstrade account number
​Receiving account name: Client’s full name
​Firstrade contact email address: [email protected]

To transfer out of Firstrade via DTC, complete the DTC transfer form which is available in our Forms Center on the Firstrade website.
